SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it is actually alarmed regarding the superior number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The sassa services place established for intervention experiences a large influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
